Topological Graph Theory
Roughlyspeaking,
this fiead is to study those phenomena that happen
when we embed a figure consisting of points and lines, called a graph
on a surface or in the space,
and many structures of graphs involving them.
This can be called an amalgamation of graph theory
which shares a big part of discrete mathematics
and topology.
The studies that I (= Negami) have done in this field
can be classified into the following.
